"This is restrained to the point of being all but mute and it requires aggressive swirling to reveal the reluctant aromas of spice, red and dark currant and subtle floral nuances to reveal themselves. The refined, pure and elegant flavors exude a discreet minerality that adds a bit of lift to the firm, long and mildly warm finish that displays a touch of bright acidity."

Bursting with aromas of cherries, rose petals, ripe berries and orange rind, the 2018 Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru (négoce) is medium to full-bodied, lively and supple, its ample core of succulent fruit concealing melting tannins. Elegant and exuberant, this will drink well young.
