Color is light to medium garnet with a significant gradation to brick at the edge. The nose is slightly lifted with a hint of VA the you get lots of red florals, menthol, raisin, prune, chocolate and crushed brick. Tannins are fully integrated and the acidity is still quite bright. Very dense on the mid-palate and finish. Flavors range from chocolate to plum and prune, Luxardo cherry, blackberry jam and then a tart yet rich and very long finish.
