The 1991 Ramonet offerings are crisp, lean, elegant, and tightly knit. Again, high acidity is a hallmark in what was a notoriously low acid year. Although closed, the 1991 Batard offers light intensity aromas of honey, butter, and sweet, smoked apples, medium to full body, and excellent precision and depth. This wine needs at least 4-5 years in the cellar; it should keep for over a decade. - WA
