Burgundy Wine Packs
Burgundy 3-Packs
THE AVANT GARDE OF BURGUNDY'S YOUNG PRODUCERS
The New Face of Burgundy - Special Edition 3-Packs
Only a few winemakers with a deep knowledge of their terroir and expert skills in the winery can achieve greatness with no artifice. The avant-garde Burgundy producers featured in these packs are among them.
Although it is difficult to give them an official definition, natural wine producers believe in the same approach when it comes to winemaking: nothing should be added, nor removed. Farming should be organic, if not biodynamic, without any synthetic chemicals. In a sense, it is the easiest method to understand, yet probably the most difficult to successfully achieve. While most conventional winemakers adjust the chemical balance of their must using different ingredients, the so-called natural winemakers choose the ambitious path of low intervention. The alcoholic fermentation starts spontaneously and there is as little manipulation as possible during winemaking and élevage. The question of added sulfur is often at the center of the topic, and natural wines tend to use the very minimum, if any at all.
The packs curated below are available in very limited supply. Bring yours home and savor the best of Burgundy's young avant garde producers and experience the natural wines of Burgundy through their incredible skill.

A Deep Dive into Natural Burgundy Special Edition 3-pack
This fantastic, extremely limited 3-pack features beloved Burgundian appellations, diving deeper into the complexity of its natural wines. Le Grappin’s Monthelie is made using chardonnay grapes that express the peculiar minerality of that terroir, while Domaine de Chassorney’s Saint Romain, a neighboring appellation in the revered Côte de Beaune, exudes with delicate aromatics of white flowers – an interesting and delightful comparison between the two wines. Then, Pommard shows a facet rarely seen in the village with the talent of Vin Noé. In the capable hands of winemaker Jonathan Purcell, this appellation, whose reputation is to produce tannic, powerful wines, offers the most delicate and refined style of Pinot Noir.

About the Producers:
Run by the extremely talented Anglo-Australian couple of Emma and Andrew Nielsen, the wines of Le Grappin are a tour de force in a region where multigenerational family businesses represent traditional, ancestral winemaking. The extremely low interventionist mentality at Le Grappin gives their wine a purity and transparency that is rarely seen. You just might discover the celebrated style of Burgundy wine in a new light.
Domaine de Chassorney was founded in 1996 by Frederic Cossard and his wife Laure. Right away, the couple dedicated all their efforts to impeccable farming, using homeopathic treatments in the vines, and no synthetic chemicals at all. The label Frederic Cossard is made with the same talent and by the same dynamic duo. The only difference under that label is that the grapes are not from the family estate, but purchased from farmers who work with the same rigorous, organic ethic.
Vin Noé is the micro-negociant project (just over 2 hectares!) of Jonathan Purcell, a native Californian who has lived and worked in Burgundy since 2011. Jonathan has worked in the cellars of Philippe Pacalet, Domaine de Montille, and Domaine Matrot, finding time on nights and weekends to launch his own project. In 2016, Vin Noé debuted its first vintage, and as of 2021, is Jon’s full-time job.
