The 2018 Meursault À Mon Plaisir Clos du Haut Tesson has turned out beautifully, wafting from the glass with notes of pear, orange oil and white flowers complemented by hints of wheat toast, beeswax and struck match. Medium to full-bodied, ample and precise, with a succulent core of fruit, lively acids and a suave, seamless profile, it is already quite expressive. (WK) - VM

An almost timid nose reluctantly shares its aromas of various white orchard fruit that are laced with hints of citrus, mineral reduction and a panoply of floral elements. There is outstanding intensity to the beautifully detailed medium-bodied flavors that possess a beguiling texture thanks to the abundance of sappy dry extract that also buffers the very firm acid spine shaping the saline and relatively powerful finish. Villages level Meursault rarely gets much better than this though be prepared to be patient. *Outstanding* - BH

Fine bright pale lemon. There is a wonderful serenity to the nose of this wine, which really fills out the palate behind, lemon infused flesh with a thrilling mineral acidity running through the middle. Again the lightest of touches and the longest of finishes, but with welcome flesh through the middle. *Five Stars* - JM
