The 2018 Côtes du Jura Pinot Noir en Barberon was produced with grapes grown on clay-rich soils from the Lias period. The full clusters fermented in open oak vats, and the wine matured in 228-liter oak barrels for one year. It has some volatility and a spicy touch with moderate alcohol and integrated acidity, and it comes through as soft and approachable.
