The 2019 Meursault À Mon Plaisir Clos du Haut Tesson has a fragrant bouquet with pressed white flowers, touches of jasmine and yellow plum. This shows slightly more reductive traits compared to the Les Luchets and Meix Chavaux. The palate is vibrant on the entry, taut and fresh. Fine acidity with an edgy nectarine and lemon zest driven finish. There is a surfeit of energy here, its tenderness belying its power. - VM

Like the Vireuils, this was being prepared for the bottling and the usual nuances of the nose were muted though the aromas were clearly ripe and quite floral in character. The super-sleek, intense and well-defined medium-bodied flavors display outstanding volume and minerality on the citrusy, clean, bone-dry and beautifully balanced finish. Villages level wines are rarely better than this one. - BH

Aromas of crisp orchard fruit, white flowers, toasted almonds, iodine and struck match preface the 2019 Meursault À Mon Plaisir Clos du Haut Tesson, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping wine that's textural but chiseled, its ripe core of fruit girdled by bright acids. This is a powerful, muscular Tesson that I look forward to revisiting in bottle. - WA

Pale colour, lean dense and tense, this is much more like top-flight classic Roulot, all in the concentration and not in the flesh. The terroir trumps the vintage, exquisitely balanced, still on the brawny side with very good length, classical with white fruit and flower notes. - JM
