The 2019 Meursault Les Porusot 1er Cru has a very intense nose. Crushed rock and almost flinty aromas, with light pressed flower and orchard fruit develop with time in a tensile style. The palate is vibrant, poised and focused, taut and fresh with an arresting saline finish that lingers in the mouth. Superb. (NM) - VM

Restrained if overtly spicy green fruit, acacia and lemon rind aromas complement the detailed, powerful and concentrated bigger-bodied flavors that brim with sappy dry extract that does a fine job of buffering the very firm acid spine supported the very dry and citrus inflected finish. This tautly muscular effort is quite tightly wound, and I would describe the 2019 version of the Porusot as more refined than usual. *Burghound Sweet Spot Outstanding!* - BH

The 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Porusot is promising, bursting with notes of pear, white flowers, citrus zest, fresh bread and vanilla pod. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and concentrated, it's lively and enveloping, deriving entirely from the domaine's holdings in Porusot Dessus as Roulot's holdings in the lower part of the cru weren't yet back in production after replanting.
