Very aromatic, with tons of yellow apple, lemon curd, chamomile and fresh garden herbs. Impressive substance and harmony for the 2021 vintage. From Kiedrich's Klosterberg and Sandgrub, the Riesling trocken 2021 Kiedrich offers a fine yet intense and well-concentrated nose of ripe citrus fruit (and orange) aromas intermingled with notes of crushed stones. Round and elegant on the palate, with a charmingly refined and mouth-filling texture and very fine, ripe acidity, this is a tense, saline, very persistent and lingering mineral Riesling with remarkable quality and complexity. 12.5% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted in November 2022. - WA
