Reviews & Scores
A more floral-suffused nose speaks primarily of wonderfully spicy white orchard fruit aromas that are liberally laced with lemon confit and interesting hints of tangerine peel and just sliced fennel. There is again first-rate intensity to the gorgeously textured medium-bodied flavors that are even more mineral-driven on the citrusy, bone-dry and impressively persistent finale. While this could also be reasonably approached young, it will need at least some forbearance. In a word, excellent. (Drink starting 2028) - BH

Notes of crisp stone fruit, yellow apples, fresh pastry and toasted almonds introduce the 2020 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Caillerets, a medium-bodied, satiny and fine-boned wine that's delicate and saline. Roulot has done a fine job with this must. - WA

12.95% alcohol, 4.30TA, 3.30pH. Pale lemon colour, a little sulphur, but a mix of stones and white fruit as well. Then on the second half of the palate the Puligny Cailleret absolutely takes off, with such a burst of energy. Perfectly poised between the stony intensity and the grace of the ripe fruit. - JM
