The final wine comes from another chalky parcel, the tiniest of the bunch, .17-hectare parcel in the village of Oger. This particular parcel is pillar-trellised, planted in 1990. Bred the same way that the other lieu-dits are, this contrasts the Les Bauves most starkly; the aromatics are explosive, intense, laden with brioche, citrus, and pastry notes. The palate is fuller in comparison with the first three, with excellent structure, vibrant minerality and delicious flavor profile—a mere 500 bottles were produced of this beauty!
