Picked on the first day, and now racked from 2 x 500 litre barrels. Pale colour with a faint green tint, and some reductive character on the nose. Beautifully elegant nose. Very well managed with a richer fruit that has retained its balance. Stylish and persistent. Drink from 2026-2032. - JM

The 2021 Meursault Les Bouchères 1er Cru is impressive on the nose with real presence: yellow fruit, desiccated orange peel and crushed stone aromas. The palate is well balanced with a very subtle reduction on the entry, fine acidity, linear and focused towards the finish. One of the best whites from the Domaine this year. - VM
