Pale lemon with light green tints. A fractional reduction on the nose. Apparently this fermented very rapidly in both 2017 and 2018. There is a suggestion of barrel toast too. Plenty of fruit in the mouth, with generous ripe apple notes, fills out well at the back. Not in line with the others but still lovely. Tasted: November 2018. - JM

The 2017 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly is excellent this year, bursting from the glass with aromas of crisp green apple, pear, iodine and gingerbread. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, succulent and mineral, with a fine-boned, elegantly chalky mid-palate and a long, saline finish. - WA
