An impressively pure if somewhat reserved high-toned nose features wonderfully stylish aromas of white flower, hazelnut, wet stone and ripe lemon-lime nuances where the minerality also adds punch and lift to the mineral-infused, racy and punchy medium-bodied flavors that possess real finishing verve and seriously impressive persistence. The old vine sap is very much in evidence as it confers a seductive texture onto the mid-palate yet does not compromise the precise and chiseled quality of the backend. *Collectibles* This taut, stretched white offers a fine interplay of elements. Lemon, apple, mineral and saline flavors evolve on the linear frame, remaining persistent on the long aftertaste. There's great texture and harmony, but this just needs time. (BS) - WS

Bright yellow. Musky, primary aromas of lemon, crushed stone and minerals; the most classic of these 2008s to this point. Then citric, stony and firmly built, with lovely inner-mouth perfume and purity. This tastes like healthy grapes. - VM
