2021 G. Noellat Grands Echezeaux Grand Cru 750ml
Located in New York
“Lovely medium deep purple. Here Maxime is unequivocally positive. The 2021 Grands Echezeaux has a particularly fine bouquet, the sort that requires additional sniffing. Eloquent floral notes. Nuanced, yet with the Musigny-like majesty of the vineyard, albeit to a lighter degree in 2021. A touch of balanced sucrosity, long, fine and delicious. Drink from 2030-2040.”

Reviews & Scores
Here too there is enough reduction to render the nose impossible to accurately assess. More interesting are the supple, round and again, utterly delicious and vibrant larger-scaled flavors that possess better mid-palate density while displaying focused power on the notably more complex and more persistent finale. This beauty should amply repay a decade plus of keeping. - BH

The 2021 Grands Echézeaux Grand Cru is backward on the nose, opening gradually with a mixture of red and black fruit, iodine and pressed violet aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, fleshier than the Echézeaux and definitely more complex. Silky smooth in texture, this fans out on the finish, pure and persistent. It is determined to put a distance between itself and the Echézeaux this year…and it does. - VM
