After a very poor bottle in the big Cros Parantoux tasting a few years ago, this one was much better if not truly great. A floral red berry fruit nose that is both ripe and slightly toasty leads to medium full flavors that offer solid intensity and good extract with better overall integration of the wood on the lengthy finish. A quality wine but not nearly at the level the wine's reputation would suggest. - BH
