Very nice nose. Straightforward, it showed dark cherries and orange peel layered over some earth and herb notes, with just a hint of vanilla. Palate was bright and high-toned, with fleshy strawberries and dark cherries on the attack, along with more orange peel and a touch of meatiness on the bass notes. All very clean and elegant and nicely balanced. Finish had a nice spiciness, powdery tannins were there, coating the mouth in a rather firmish sense of structure.
