"Youthful nose - lots of t 'n a (even though it's white)...some hay in there with white and yellow fruits...a little gassy at first, with a touch of Bipin "botrytis"...orange characteristics develop, along with white meats and the skins...a touch of tang but not in a lemony way...very rich, almost bordering on an Alsatian palate on the front end, but definitely NOT on the back side...big finish full of acid and alcohol still...very kinky wine...rich, honeyed palate without the sweetness...very rich and young despite being twenty years old! Some white flower and stone flavors emerge, and a pinch of marzipan creeps in...Bipin called it flawless ...I think I heard a BD 98+!!! The Good Doctor likened it to a Montrachet."
