Wonderfully elegant and quite fragrant with complex aromas of underbrush, earth and crushed herbs with equally complex flavors that are sweet from all the black cherry and pinot extract. This doesn't quite have the power of the Lavaut but it is both finer and more complex. A lovely, lovely wine. - BH

Red-ruby. Highly aromatic nose combines black cherry, blackberry, game and lead pencil, plus a vague vegetal nuance that adds to its complexity. Very suave and silky in the mouth, with subtle sweetness, noteworthy complexity and firm underlying minerality. Still rather unforthcoming but already offers a compelling combination of density and soil tones. - VM
